CALL THE REGION AND THE GOVERNMENT BASILICATA
We citizens involved in politics, culture and the arts, in the work and on the job, studies and research we can not remain indifferent or silent before the danger of a real annihilation of the fate of the citizens of Basilicata for the improvident decision to bind over 60% of the entire Lucan to the interests of oil companies.
We can not even imagine what the motives for the ruling classes to give corporations the sovereignty over a territory so vast, with the risk of being sentenced to a miserable fate, in which the alms of oil royalties and grants in aeternum will only serve to make subtle improvements to an irreversible environmental degradation, social and civic life.
We believe that natural resources belong to the citizens of a country and should be used in the interest of all and especially for future generations. The population of Lucan, who lives in areas such as natural resources like water (think that Coca Cola has recently acquired the "Fonti del Vulture"), such as fossil fuels (oil and gas) abound, instead of benefit from this wealth, he sees increasing day by day use the insecurity. How to accept a destiny, which is mostly made up of leaks from Basilicata, redundancy comparable only to those of the sixties? The same
